James Noble Jr. was born on May 12, 1952 to the late Lucinda and James Noble, Sr. in Huntsville, AL. At the age of 59, James was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, while at Parkview Hospital.
James moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1968, and attended Shortridge High School. He worked for the Indianapolis Metro Transportation Company for over 20 years. He later moved to Fort Wayne and became a member of the band known as the “Sons of Favor”.
James was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed dearly.
He leaves to cherish is memory: his wife of 32 years, Conchita Noble; sons, Corey Noble of Indianapolis and Calvin Wade III of Fort Wayne; daughters, Danielle Noble and India Noble both of Indianapolis, Mary (Bobby) Clark, Tania (David) Rodriguez, Yvette Wade-Williams, Ganaye (Will) Wade and Jennifer Butler all of Fort Wayne, Julie (Robert) Jacobs of Dallas, TX; brothers, Robert Noble and John Noble both of Indianapolis; sister, Queen Campbell of Indianapolis; 36 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren; special great grandson, Antonio Williams;special sister-in-law, Joann (Rey) De'Leon of Defiance, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by his sons, Brandon Wade and Geoffrey Williams; and niece, Cynthia Pettus.
Funeral Service will be held noon Monday at Carmichael Funeral Service with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
