Imogene (Shaw) JacksonAugust 25, 1943 ~ January 12, 2018 (age 74)
Imogene Jackson went home to eternal glory on January 12, 2018, peacefully and with family surrounding her. She was born on August 25, 1943 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Richard and Elizabeth Shaw and moved to Muncie, Indiana at a young age.
She was a long-time member of True Vine Holiness Tabernacle and Calvary Baptist Church and a tithe-paying member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She was also a proud BorgWarner retiree. Imogene was known for her kindness and generosity to all, but most of all for her love of the Lord and devotion to her family.
The Lord blessed Imogene with a large circle of family and friends to cherish her memory, including her sons, Robert Lee Jackson III (Yunika), Timothy Dupree Jackson, Sr. (Shelley), and Randy Bernard Jackson (Heather Whitehair); grandchildren, Jalen Jackson (Alexis Byrd), Hasana Boykins, I’Yana Boykins, Raye’Ana Boykins, Haven Boykins, Neveah Boykins, Robert Jackson IV (Amber Racoma), Hugh Jackson, Edward Jackson, Timothy Jackson, Jr., and Isaiah Jackson; great-grandchildren, Dysir Jackson, Amare’ Moore, and Juelz Jackson; siblings, Shirley McNeill, Richard Shaw Jr., Mary (William) Hammond, Bette (Dr. Wade) Sloss, Donald (Marilyn) Shaw, Estella (Reneau) Simpson, Debra Shaw-Bradley, and Dante (Nina) Shaw; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; former husband, Robert Lee Jackson, Jr.; and dear friends Billie Lee, Rosie Cates, Darlene Warren, Judy McCowan, and Mary Ondercin.
Imogene was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sherria Jean Jackson; grandson, Billy Ray Boykins, Jr.; brothers, Dorris and Lonnell Shaw; and her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Shaw.
