Loyce Ann (Bell) HillMay 20, 1948 ~ November 24, 2017 (age 69)
Loyce Ann (Bell) Hill was born May 20, 1948 to Loyce Betty (Thurman) and Granville Bell in Muncie, Indiana. She departed this life on Friday, November 24, 2017 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
Prior to retiring, she worked many years as a nurse at New Castle State Hospital.
Loyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a wonderful friend. Anyone acquainted with Loyce knew that she always spoke her mind and that she had a tremendous sense of humor. Always a caregiver, she looked out for all her family and friends and was a loyal supporter. Loyce developed a life long love of family and an appreciation for hard work. These values were evident in her life especially in the joy and dedication that she demonstrated in coordinating many family events and gatherings. Her family was her major focus, and in the joy and dedication that she demonstrated in coordinating many family events and gatherings. Her family was her major focus, and time spent with relatives and friends brought her much happiness and comfort throughout her life.
Loyce enjoyed shopping, cooking, winning at the casino and traveling. She enjoyed a close bond with her only child, Brandon, and had the privilege of seeing him receive his Master in Education from Central State University, fulfilling his promise to her.
Loyce's presence in this life will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Loyce leaves behind her son, Brandon Hayes of Fairborn, OH; grandchildren, Brayden Hayes and Rheanne Hayes both of Fairborn, OH; brothers, Edward Bell, Steve (Stacy Routh) Bell Granville Bell, Donnie Russell and Ronnie Russell all of Muncie and Benjamin (Iverne) Russell of Indianapolis; sisters, Annette (Gary) Phillips of Muncie and Ellise (Mark) Dixon of Indianapolis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish her memory.
Loyce was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Hill, Jr., parents, Granville and Betty Bell.
