Margaret Mae (Epperson) IngramMarch 1, 1951 ~ August 13, 2017 (age 66)
Her Life Story
Margaret Mae Epperson-Ingram was born March 1, 1951 to Mattie Mae (Lockett) and Joe Euell Epperson in Humboldt, Tennessee. She grew up in Humboldt and accepted Christ at an early age. She relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1976.
On December 17, 1977, she was united in holy matrimony to Ernest James Ingram. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She would accept anyone into her home.
“Nuddie” as she was affectionately called by family and friends enjoyed playing bingo, cards, fishing, and traveling to visit her family back home in Humboldt, TN. She was a strong woman of faith and instilled God into her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On Sunday, August 13, 2017, God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered, “Peace be thine.”
She leaves to cherish her sweet memory; her husband, Ernest James Ingram; two sons, Lewis (Tamera) Jenkins of Humboldt, TN and Sedrick Epperson of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Marjorie Epperson and Tracy (Timothy) Davis both of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Curtis Epperson of Fort Wayne and Chester Epperson of Humboldt, TN; one sister, Virginia Marable of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Joe E. Epperson and Mattie Epperson-Brooks; brothers, Roosevelt Epperson, Vernon Thomas Epperson, Phillip Epperson, William Epperson and Larry Epperson; sisters, Ollie Mae Flakes, Geneva Cole and Carrie Lee Askew; a loving grandson, Clifton Cottrell who she desired to be near in her final resting place.
