Angela Denika Branigan, was born November 7, 1974 in Fort Wayne Indiana to Evans and Lois Branigan.
Angela graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1993. Upon graduating from Concordia, Angela earned her Bachelors Degree in African American Studies from Ball State University in 1998. As a professional, Angela worked with several agencies as a Drug and Alcohol case manager in Fort Wayne.
Angela enjoyed spending time with her family, watching movies with her kids and playing name that tune with her siblings. If you ever found yourself not knowing that movie line, she was there to let you know. Angela could alway be found on Black Friday trying to find the next great deal! She fancied herself as the family historian Angela had a sharp memory for family events and details. Staunchly independent yet willing to always help others, Angela was a friend to all she met. Proud of her family, Angela had a great since of accomplishment and appreciation when the family came together to celebrate events or join together in challenging times. Angela will be missed by both those known to her family and those unknown who benefitted from her generosity.
After many years of battling health issues, Angela departed this life on Monday, August 19, 2019.
Angela leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her daughters’ Alexis and Aleese Branigan; parents Evans and Lois Branigan; brother Evans “Bryant” (Heather) Branigan III; sisters Aleshia (Torren) Branigan and Demetria Bradberry, nieces Sharletta Bradberry, Aleana and Alana Branigan; nephews Damion Bradberry, Evans “Cole” and Jaden Branigan, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and life long friend Gloria Booker.
