Antionette “Nett” Hill-Perry was born July 29, 1968 Dorothy Lee and Thaddaus Howard “Jack” Hill in Atlanta, Georgia.
Antionette relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana with her family at an early age. She attended Fort Wayne Community Schools and graduated from Northside High School. She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for many years. She really enjoyed her job working with the elderly.
“Nett” as she was affectionately called by family and friends accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Dr. Samuel Walker, Jr. Later in life she joined Fellowship Missionary Church. When she was no longer able to attend church, she began reading her Bible at home.
On July 13, 1991, she united in holy matrimony to Hubert Perry. This past July they celebrated twenty-eight years of marriage. Nett was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her son Jonathan was the joy of her life. She loved her family and enjoyed being home. Her youngest brother Thaddaus who is known to the family as Junnie could always make her laugh.
Nett departed this life peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital surrounded by her loving husband Hubert, siblings and other family members.
Nett leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Hubert Perry; son, Jonathan Perry; step-son, Mark (Sara) Perry; step-daughter, Yolanda (Robert) Austin; twin brother, Antoin Hill; brothers, Tony Greene, Michael Hill, Thaddaus Hill all of Fort Wayne, and Kenny Brownlow, Sr. of California; sister, Jackie (Mike) Garrett of Fort Wayne; aunt, Mildred McPherson of Fort Wayne; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
