J'Keveous J'Wuan Hampton was born April 20, 1997 to Latoya Murray-Logan and Richard Johnnie Lee Hampton in Lansing, Michigan. He passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 21.
"Keve" as he was affectionately known by family and friends moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 3 years old. He attended and graduated early from New Haven High School. Keve has always had a passion for football starting at the early age of 6 years old, where he became part of the Metro Youth Sports. He continued playing football all through high school; where he was cherished and loved by his teachers, peers and coaches especially coach Mark Nash.
Keve loved to dance and has a good ear for music. He was a very humble and mannerable young man and was raised with high standards. His love for his family was extraordinary and his love for his mother was so strong; he did everything to make sure that she was continuously happy. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to all. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would brighten your day,
J'Keveous leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Latoya (William) Logan; father, Richard Hampton; brothers, Lydell Trainer, Jr., Jamon Hampton, William Williams, Juan Williams, Jelani Washington, Jashawn Hampton, Amere Hampton and Dominique; sisters, Azaria Washington, Brianna Gould, Jasmine Hampton, Jamesha Cole, Faith Hampton and Jacari Harris; one special daughter, JaVeah Ellington; grandparents, Mammie Murray, Velma Hampton and Lizzie; special grandmother, Lenetha Davis; favorite uncle, Johnail Osborne; godmother, Lakeisha McClain; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, D'azia T.L. Trainer; grandparents, Henry Curtis (Barbara) Moore, Richard J.L. Hampton, Sr.; great-grandparents, Idella Crawford and Robert Lee Smith; great-great grandmother, Tommie Lee Walker; special uncle, John T. Craword.
