Mother Christina (Hogan) Hopkins was born January 3, 1938 to Sarah Ellen (Gaines) and Archie Hogan in Indianapolis, Indiana. She transitioned this life on Saturday, December 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Christina accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Joshua's Temple, under the leadership of Dr. Cedric L. Walker, Sr. She was a mother of the church and she was also apart of the culinary committee. She enjoyed taking pictures, collecting stuff animals, watching television and talking on the phone with her friends.
She was employed by Fort Wayne State Developmental Center and retired after 29 years of dedicated service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be missed dearly by family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Clarence Hopkins; sons, Robert (Estella) Paschall and Curtis (Vivian) Paschall; daughters, Gwendolyn Adams and Sarah Paschall all of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; special grandson, Edward Paschall; special nephew, Tommy (Ella) Hogan; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Sarah Hogan; brothers, Kenneth Hogan, Peter Hogan and Phillip Hogan; and grandson, Eric Paschall
The family would like to express a special thanks to Debra, Chandra, Trevika and Heartland Hospice.
