Sterlinda Cennette Jackson was born April 28, 1960 to Laureatha (Henry) and Thomas Jackson in Muncie, Indiana.  At the age of 13; she accepted Christ while attending Christ Temple Apostolic Church.  Later she moved her membership to Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Brown where served faithfully until the time of her death. Sterlinda’s love for God was endless and His presence shined through her loving spirit.

She attended local schools including Garfield Elementary and Burris Laboratory, graduating in 1978. As a PJ’s College of Cosmetology alumnus, her entrepreneurial nature was sparked and she owned and operated her own nail business.  Before required to retire early by her medical condition she was employed by Ball State University for over 10 years as well as ABC Bus Station.
