Angelo Devon Blackmon, Sr. was born March 20, 1974 to Carrie (Stephens) and Willie Blackmon in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Angelo accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended R. Nelson Snider High School where he garnered an entrepreneur mindset. This led to him having an ambitious hustler’s mentality and owning multiple car wash businesses around the city of Fort Wayne.
On September 21, 2017 he united in holy matrimony to Shawn D. Gaston.
“Lodie” as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a true force to nature, who lived life to the fullest. He had many hobbies which included cooking, cracking jokes, dancing, dressing up sharp, and being the life and laugh of the party. His larger-than-life personality, charisma, and signature squeaky voice made him friends with many people from all walks of life. To know him, is to love him.
Anyone who knew Angelo knew that he was the most loving husband, father, son grandfather, brother, and friend that anyone could ask for. His love and memories will forever stay in our hearts. Job well done.
