Brycen D. Cassell-Thomas, 18 years old, born on April 26, 2004, was a native of Fort Wayne, IN where he departed on April 12, 2023 at the Parkview Hospital Randallia. Brycen D. Cassell-Thomas loved God and his family. He was taught about the doctrine of Jesus Christ and at the age of 9yrs old, he received Christ into his life and was baptized by his father Minister Boris D. Thomas and Pastor Robert W. Bell at his Church home; True Love Missionary Baptist Church. Brycen was highly intelligent, sociable, self driven, athletic, charismatic and had a sense of humor. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling, playing basketball, listening to music, family games, barbecuing and building relationships with people. He received his high school diploma in 2022 along with many awards, certificates, trophies in sports and extracurricular activities throughout the years. He was a hard worker that was skilled in food service and in the factory industry. He was also passionate of the music industry and had begun establishing himself as a lyrical artist. Preceeded in death was his Great grandmother Rosie Cassell of Fort Wayne IN. Surviving are: His Father Boris D. Thomas of Fort Wayne, IN., his mother Milicent Warren (Zack) of Aubrey, TX., his half sister Anisha Thompson of Aubrey, TX., sister Briauna S. Desrosierss (Kaylan), of Fort Wayne, IN., sister Mikayla M. Thomas of Aubrey TX., Grandmother Shirley F. Thomas (Dennis), of Fort Wayne, IN., Grandfather Melvin Gatewood of Fort Wayne, IN., along with a host of; cousins, aunts, great-aunts and great uncles. Service was held at Community Funeral Care "Carmichael Chapel" 831 East Jefferson Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46803 on April 26th, 2023 with live streaming.
