Obituary

Chastity Unlander "Pumpkin" (Lucas) Craig was born November 28, 1973 to Ruthie (Kizer) Lucas and Charles Collins, Jr. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On December 26, 1982, she received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God. On May 15, 1988, she publicly confessed her faith and was confirmed. She received the precious gift of the Lord’s life-giving body and blood.

Chastity received her education from Fort Wayne Lutheran Schools. She graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1992. After high school, Chastity attended DeVry University in Decatur, Georgia and later returned home to Fort Wayne and gained employment with Old National Insurance Company.

Chastity was married to Cleevas Craig, Sr. in 2001 and to this union five children were born.- Twins-Cleevas, Jr. and Cleasia Craig -Twins- Chanteese and Chastity Craig and her youngest son Carmarion Craig. Chastity dedicated her life to raising her children, along with tending to the care of her nieces, nephews, and many others along the way. Some of her leisure activities, included cooking, listening to music, singing, and being with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed supporting her children with their athletic events. Chastity‘s kind heart and beautiful smile will be carried on by the legacy that she left within her children.

On November 11, 2020 God blessed Chastity with a holy death and took her home to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sons, Cleevas Craig and Camarion Craig; three daughters, Cleasia Craig, Chastity Craig and Chanteese Craig; her loving mother, Ruthie Mae Lucas all of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Genette Lucas of Fort Wayne and Sandra Lucas of Fishers, IN; two brothers, Preston Ewing and Marcus Ewing both of Fort Wayne; special father, Charles Jenkins of Fort Wayne; special sister, Katrina Jenkins of Fort Wayne; god son, Rasheed Feldhan of Fort Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Collins, Jr.; brother, Prentice Ewing; maternal grandmother, Leora Veazey; paternal grandparents, Charles and Ilene Collins, Sr.
