And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
He will wipe away every tear from their eye and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
Revelation 21:4
Demanuel Ray Wilson was born to the loving union of Johnny L. Wilson and Katrice Watterson Wilson on January 31, 1990 at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina while both parents were serving in the United States Army and later deployed to serve in Desert Storm. Both parents were decorated Veterans of the Gulf War, the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan.
Demanuel departed this natural walk to have a spiritual journey with the Lord April 7, 2023 at his home in Jonesboro, Georgia.
Our beloved Demanuel was the proud father of two children, Jada Renee Wilson and Jayden Ray Wilson. He was a devoted father who loved his children with all his heart. He taught them love, respect, and to work hard to achieve their goals. “Dee” as he was affectionately called and sometimes “Manuel” by his mother, loved spending time with family and friends. And firing up the grill every weekend to make his famous chicken bowl with guacamole.
Demanuel was one of the three musketeers which was called DZK, an acronym for Demanuel, Zackary and Katrice. And DZK endured hardships but with hardwork accomplished great achievements. Demanuel was the life of the party.
He was graduated from Paul Harding High School in 2008 and later attended Indiana Technical College with studies in Business Administration. He was employed at Amazon in GA and previously employed by UPS in Fort Wayne. He possessed special talents as a hair designer and personal stylist.
Demanuel will forever be loved and cherished and missed by his family: two children, Jada Renee Wilson, and Jayden Ray Wilson and his loving and devoted mother, Katrice R. Wilson, brother, Zackary A. Wilson and one niece, Alonna Joy Wilson, all of Ft. Wayne. One uncle Raymond Watterson of Portland, Oregon. And his maternal grandmother Emma L. Dixon of Bogalusa, Louisiana. One grand uncle, Jimmy Buckley of Sacramento, CA, and James Watterson of Texas and aunts Rosetta Tillman and Patricia Abrams and one great grand uncle Willie Short all of Bogalusa.

Grate all of Salters, SC, Brenda (Robert Green) Scott of Kingstree, SC and Verline Burgess of Lane, SC; one grand uncle Squire Shedrick of Salters, SC.
