Earmy Jewell (Gray) Chapman was born May 14, 1941 to Odessa (Westmorland) and James Gray in Bruce, Mississippi. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital.

Earmy was employed by General Electric. She was a successful entrepreneur of Earmy’s Beauty Salon and she spent her later years as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She loved taking care of her pa- tients. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George LaGrone; children, Claudette King, Christopher Gray, Stacey Gray, Juanita (Tim) Sanford and Nicole Chapman; brothers, Billy (Ruby) Gray, James Gray, Jr., Ben Gray and Joe Gray; sisters, Odessia (Roger) Daniel, Bobbie LaMaster, Gatha Gray, Renea Allen and Eva Gray; grandsons, Mondre, Quincy Antwaine, Demetric, Glenmore, Ayrian, Darius, Timothy and Christian; grand- daughters, Candace, Kashee, Ashley, India, Tim- ita, Timyla and Q; 27 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mia Gray; parents, James and Odessa Gray; grand- daughter, NaShondra Gray; and grandson, Charles Edward Wiliams IV.

Current Executive Order - Face coverings and social distancing is required. Funeral home is limited to 25 people in the building at a time.
