Evelina (Totten) Johnson was born July 28, 1957 Annie Mae (Morris) and Frank Totten, Sr. in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital.
Evelina confessed Christ at an early age. She loved people and loved being around her family. She loved making others happy through her gift of love, kindness and inspiration. Most of all, Eveling loved her husband, children and her family, and desired for them all to give their lives to the Lord. She loved singing and karaoke. She was also known for her interpretation of dreams, as they were given to her through the spirit of the Lord.
Evelina was a very private person and did not want to burden her family with her illness; she continued to be strong and fought the "Good fight of faith."
She leaves to cherish her memory; her loving husband, Marlon Ray Mosley; five sons, Marlon Swazy, Marlo Totten, Jamar Totten, Mario Johnson and Carl Johnson; four daughters, Marla Harris, Keisha Hildreth, Martina Thomas and Marlene Swazy; brothers, John L. (Daisey) Totten, Jr., Percy Totten and Bobby (Nakeya) Totten; sisters, Mary (James) Poole, Annie (Robert) Robinson and Anita (Robert) Morgan; sixty plus grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mardale Totten; mother, Annie Mae McCledon; father, Frank Totten, Sr.; siblings, Cabbie Bullock, Henry Totten, Ethel Payne and Marcus Smith.
