Jason Allen Parker was born June 29,1969 to Val Jennings and Jessie “Jake” Sewell. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
”Jay” as he was affectionately alles by family and friends attended Fort Wayne Community Schools; embarking upon a career as a welder.
Jay was a serious man with a fun loving spirit empowered with a smile that had the capacity to lighten a room. He had plenty of interests and hobbies but he loved to cook and was a most impressive cook. Jay will be tremendously missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Jason Parker, Deondre (Jaquelia) Da’Zhon Parker and Reondis Parker; one daughter, Dominique Parker: mother, Val Jennings; father, Jessie Sewell; sisters, Janae Stephens and Trinel (David) Jennings; brother, Colin Parker; grandmother, Dolores Groves; aunts, Ronda Jennings and Gladys Holly; special brothers, Anthony (Mary) Walker, Joe (Yusuf) Flake and Bruce Smith; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Sewell; grandfather, Cecil Jennings; special parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parker; sisters, Judy Parker and Alisa Lapsley; William Parker; and uncle, Theodore “Thedo” Sewell.
