The Life’s Journey of
Jimmy L. Gooden was born in Newbern, Alabama on February 6, 1942. He was the only child of the late Jimmy and Ola “Pinkston” Gooden. He was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 53 years, Frances “Bennett” Gooden; children, Antonio Lamar Gooden, Tiffany Lynn Gooden-Kelso, Esq. (DeAndre) and Antonio Dominique Stokes-Gooden; grandchildren, Austin James France, Elijah James Kelso, and Alexis Tiffany Gooden; great-grandson, Zander Gage Gooden-Johnson; sister, Kristi Mathis; nephews, Joey Eloms (Shira) and Demico Hudnall; host of other cousins and loyal friends who shared the void of his homegoing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Ola “Pinkston” Gooden; his father, Jimmy Gooden, and many other family members.
