Quincy Lamar Brown Sr., also known as Q, was born February 19, 1977 to Dianna D. Underwood and A. Vincent Brown, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He departed this earthly on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Carmel, Indiana.
Quincy graduated from Northrup High School where he ran track, played football, and then decided to become a vegetarian. He went on to graduate from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication and Business.
On January 13, 2012, Quincy Sr., was joined in holy matrimony to Jane’e Manns. Their union resulted in two children: Quincy L. Jr, and Tyler T. Brown and one grandson, Phoenix N. Brown.
Quincy Sr., started his professional career at SBC Global, Indianapolis IN. He later moved on to Verizon in Westfield, IN where he was promoted to a position within the company that moved his family to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Quincy established entrepreneuralship with Jane'e and created Prime Services LLC. His last place of employment was with MedScript Pharmacies.
Quincy received Christ in the fall of 1996 at Annointed Harvester Church, in Bloomington IN. He enjoyed different genres of music and could often be found at his computer creating his own original sounds and mixes. He told everyone he was the greatest DJ of all "Dj Badd Newz" and he had the best skills on the dance floor. He enjoyed socializing and having a good time, attending sports events, mingled with friends but most of all he loved his family and friends. Quincy never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Jane’e Brown; sons, Quincy Brown, Jr. and Tyler Brown; grandson, Phoenix N. Brown; mother, Dianna Ellis; maternal grandmother, Hattie B. Underwood and paternal grandmother, J. Synovia Brown; in addition to a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws..
Quincy Sr., was preceded in death by his father, A. Vincent Brown; paternal grandfather, Waymon Brown Jr. and maternal grandfather, Clarence Underwood, Sr.
Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
