Sharon Elaine Boyd was born on June 20, 1965, which just so happened to be Father’s Day to Earlean and Thomas Boyd in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was their youngest child and only girl. Sharon passed away on Monday, October 12,2020 in her home.
Sharon graduated as a member of Class 1983 from Paul Harding High School. She attended Pilgrim Baptist Church with her family when she was younger. She was employed for a short time at Miller’s Merry Manor before she started working at Parkview Memorial Hospital, which later changed to Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC). She served as a Patient Care Tech on the Ortho Neuro Trauma Floor. She recently celebrated her 30-year anniversary with the company this past March.
To know Sharon was to love Sharon. She brought so much joy to those around her. Her family, friends, and coworkers always knew it would be a great time whenever she was around. She was a great mother who would do anything and everything for her daughter. Her daughter was her pride and joy and always made Sharon proud. Sharon loved music, online games, and being around her friends and family as much as she could.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her only child, Arielle “Arie” of Indianapolis, IN; mother, Earlean Boyd; brothers, Jeff Boyd and Richard (Angela) Boyd; uncle, Clem Harris; aunt, Mary Morton all of Fort Wayne, IN; best friends, Stephanie Thomas, Pam Markey, and Paulette Clancy; and a special friend she called her “Beat,” Tyrone Mays and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Boyd; brother, Kenny Boyd; sister-in law, Peggy Boyd; grandparents, Rogers and Lueretta Harris, and James and Julia Boyd.
